Who we are
Kairali Nikethan Vienna is a not-for-profit organization registered under Austrian government to promote Malayalam language and cultural heritage of Malayalee diaspora living in Austria. Established 3 decades ago under the auspices of Syro Malabar Catholic Church in Austria, we have been dedicated to preserving, promoting, and celebrating the diverse cultural tapestry and to continue to teach the classical Malayalam language of Kerala in Vienna that defines our origin with one of the most beautiful landscapes in the South Asian continent often called "God's Own Country", which is a beautiful tropical destination coupled with the unique phenomenon of monsoon where people come to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty.
Our Activities
Children aged between 5 to 15 can attend 3 hours of training sessions under the different tutored modules. Every year, there will be variations in the introduction of programs as per the availability of teachers and students. However, teaching of the Malayalam language remains unchanged and a predominant focus of the school.
Kairali Nikethan organizes several events such as Christmas and Easter celebrations, annual days, competitions, and excursions etc. for our members to spend a meaningful and lasting time at the organization apart from their normal training sessions on Saturdays.
Training Programs
The expatriate children can immerse themself in a spectrum of cultural activities, from traditional performances to contemporary dances, Malayalam language, chess and basketball training and painting. Our calendar is fully filled with activities designed to engage, entertain, and enlighten the children in Vienna. All the programs are led by experts in their fields and students can learn them at an affordable fee.
