Kairali Nikethan organizes Mollywood group dance competition for Diaspora Malayalees in Vienna

Vienna: Mollywood group dance competition for all age groups is organized under the auspices of Kairali Niketan Vienna. The competition will be held on June 1 in Vienna. Winners will get cash awards and trophies.

The competitions will be held in four groups namely Sub-Junior (5 years to 10 years), Junior (11 years to 16 years), Senior (17 years to 29 years) and Adult (30 years and above). Winners in categories other than sub-junior category will get cash award along with trophy. The winners will receive 1st prize 501 Euros, 2nd prize 301 Euros, 3rd prize 201 Euros and trophies respectively.

Contestants must be of Malayalees, of Malayalee origin, or of definite Malayalee connection or background. Although preference is mainly given to those from the European countries, permanent residents in other countries other than those living in India are eligible to participate in the competition.

A group should have not less than 5 and not more than 10 members in order to be eligible. There is no gender segregation in the groups. But it is not possible for contests to compete from a higher age group to a lower age group. Meanwhile, there is a possibility of maximum 50% candidates from the lower age group can compete in the higher age group.
